Event: Partnering with WROs for humanitarian action

The Feminist Humanitarian Network (FHN) and the Gender in Emergencies Group (GiE Group) are co-hosting a free online Event on partnering with women’s rights organisations (WROs) and women-led organisations (WLOs) for humanitarian action.

WROs and WLOs are vital to advancing gender equality and local leadership in humanitarian responses - yet many actors in the sector do not know how to engage with them effectively and equitably.

In this special event, you will get to share your biggest challenges and unique experiences on engaging with WROs and/or WLOs in your work.

You will then hear feedback and perspectives directly from practitioners leading WROs and WLOs from the FHN network.

This is a chance for humanitarian actors from the wider sector to problem-solve challenges and to learn from each other how to partner meaningfully with WROs and WLOs.

What it's about:

• 60 minute interactive session focused on your challenges and experiences on engaging with WROs and WLOs, with practitioners leading WROs and WLOs giving you direct feedback.
• Q&A on the upcoming course Introduction to partnering with Women's Rights Organisations for humanitarian action (March-April 2026).
